Aida Kaadan is a Palestinian filmmaker, writer, and film programmer based in Haifa. Her work explores identity and the social-political realities of Palestinian life, weaving together personal narratives with collective histories. Moving between documentary, fiction, and hybrid forms, her practice is driven by an interest in telling the stories of the unheard, and in how narratives are shaped, withheld, or reclaimed. Alongside her filmmaking, she engages deeply with questions of archiving and film preservation, with a particular focus on how images and histories are safeguarded, transmitted, or lost over time.

She is the founder of the 7th Art Club, an independent Palestinian mobile film club that creates accessible, communal spaces for audiences to engage with Arab and international cinema outside institutional frameworks. In parallel to her filmmaking, Aida has worked extensively in audio storytelling as a writer, radio host, and producer.
